¿Es un coche? ¿Un avión? ¿Superman? No. Es el primer auto volador del mundo y está en Miami

El AeroMobil es un coche que se transforma en avión -y viceversa- en cuestión de minutos. Está inspirado en Pegaso, el mítico caballo con alas, e hizo su debut esta semana durante el Art Basel Miami.

AeroMobil, el primer auto volador del mundo, llegó al Art Basel Miami.

Se trata de un coche que puede transformarse en avión -y viceversa- en cuestión de minutos.

PUBLICIDAD

En el aire, alcanza una velocidad de 260 kilómetros por hora y tiene un rango de entre 520 y 740 kilómetros con una carga de combustible. Pero olvídate de llevar a toda la familia. Tiene capacidad solo para dos personas.

Sus creadores dicen haberse inspirado en Pegaso, el mítico caballo con alas, y cuesta nada menos que $1.8 millones de dólares.

En exhibición hasta fines de diciembre

"El AeroMobil puede transformarse sin problemas de automóvil a avión en menos de tres minutos", asegura la compañía, The AeroMobil Company, en su sitio Web. Sin embargo, no estará disponible comercialmente hasta 2023.

El AeroMobil es el resultado de más de diez años de investigación y desarrollo por parte de un equipo global de ingenieros y diseñadores.

“Nunca antes en la historia las líneas entre el arte, la automoción y la aeronáutica habían sido tan borrosas desde el punto de vista estético", dijo Patrick Hessel, el presidente ejecutivo de AeroMobil, en un comunicado de prensa. "Parte arte visual, parte arte escénico, el AeroMobil trasciende el tiempo, el espacio y los descriptores ordinarios. Estoy muy orgulloso de que el AeroMobil finalmente ha llegado a Estados Unidos en el marco de Art Basel Miami".

El AeroMobil podrá verse en The Arsenale Miami a partir del 2 de diciembre y hasta fines de 2021.
