ATLANTA, Georgia.- Luego de anticiparlo en redes sociales, el expresidente Trump llegará este jueves a Atlanta para entregarse a las autoridades de Georgia y hacer frente a los cargos por presuntamente conspirar ilegalmente para revertir los resultados electorales en el estado en 2020.

Georgia es el cuarto estado en el que el expresidente enfrenta cargos. En está acusado de cargos penales de que planeó anular los resultados de las elecciones, en Florida enfrenta cargos por su manejo de documentos clasificados y sus supuestos esfuerzos por obstruir la investigación y en Nueva York se le señala en relación con pagos secretos de dinero realizados a mujeres durante su campaña de 2016.

El alguacil y fiscal del condado de Fulton señalan que han recibido amenazas ante las acusaciones sobre la investigación del supuesto intento del expresidente Donald Trump de anular las elecciones de 2020 en Georgia.
La carretera principal alrededor del juzgado del condado de Fulton se cerró al tráfico a partir de la madrugada del lunes 7 de agosto.
Pryor Street permanecerá cerrada entre las calles Martin Luther King Jr. y Mitchell del 7 al 18 de agosto.
El Palacio de Justicia y el Centro de Gobierno del Condado de Fulton seguirán abiertos al público.
